Opening marks second North Carolina offering from the apartment-style hotel brand, which features a signature layout with living room, full kitchen and separate bedroom
Travelers visiting the fast-growing Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle Park (RTP) region now have an option for spacious, comfortable accommodations while away from home, as new U.S. hotel brand stayAPT Suites opens its second North Carolina location today in Morrisville. Guiding the stayAPT Suites experience is a design philosophy that abandons the traditional “one-room” hotel layout in favor of an apartment-style suite, with intentional spaces.
This location is the fifth to open from the national long-term lodging brand, which launched in January 2020. Visitors to the thriving Research Triangle area, which recently added office locations for top global brands including Microsoft and Pfizer, will be the latest to experience stayAPT Suites’ game-changing layout, marked by a dedicated living room, full kitchen and separate bedroom. The modern, two-story, 50-room hotel is located less than 10 minutes from Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport, and is situated in the heart of the RTP region, within a short drive to Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill.
“For too long, many travelers have gone to bed right next to a kitchenette when staying in a hotel,” said stayAPT Suites President and CEO Gary A. DeLapp. “With a dedicated living room, a full kitchen with full-sized appliances and a separate bedroom, we are proud to introduce suites that feel more residential than a standard hotel room. stayAPT Suites’ brand-new concept will give guests in RTP—and increasingly, throughout the country—an unmatched experience that makes life much more comfortable while traveling.”
Each suite includes an open-concept living room with a sleeper sofa, lounge chair and a wall-mounted 55-inch smart television.
The kitchen features a full-size stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. And between the kitchen and living room, guests can utilize the center island as a place to eat, finish working, FaceTime with family or read the morning news.
The private, separate bedroom, located down the hall from the living area, offers either a king-sized or two queen-sized beds, a walk-in closet, a spacious desk and a second large, wall-mounted smart television.
The hotel also offers amenities that bring peace of mind to travelers navigating the COVID-19 global pandemic. Each stayAPT Suites room features its own central heating and air system, providing a quiet ambiance, while minimizing shared air with other hotel guests. Windows in both the living room and bedroom offer an opportunity for fresh air circulation. And the hotel’s optional mobile app allows guests to bypass front desk interaction with contactless check-in and digital-key room access.
stayAPT Suites Raleigh-Durham/RTP is a perfect choice for a night, a week, a month, or longer. The new location at 1009 Lower Shiloh Way, Morrisville NC, 27560 is now accepting reservations.
